Estimates, not TikTok's numbers. TikTok doesn't publish its pay rates; your real earnings are in TikTok Studio.

What the numbers mean

  • Creator Rewards

TikTok's program that pays for views on videos of one minute or longer. We take the views from your long videos, count only part of them as qualified, and apply $0.40–$1.00 per 1,000 qualified views. It stays at $0 until you meet the 10,000 follower and 100,000 view minimums.

  • Brand deals

A price per sponsored video for your follower range, taken from published rate guides, times the number of deals you enter. A high engagement rate moves it up, a low one moves it down. Treat it as a starting quote, not a promise.

  • TikTok Shop commission

Your monthly sales through product links times your commission rate, less a share for returned and cancelled orders, which don't pay commission.

  • LIVE gifts

Diamonds from your LIVE dashboard, converted at the rate creators report. Agency and program cuts are inside the low end.

How TikTok pays creators

There is no single TikTok paycheck. Creators who earn from the app usually combine two or three sources: Creator Rewards for views, brand deals for sponsored videos, commission on TikTok Shop sales, and gifts during LIVE videos. The view count on your profile turns into money only through one of them.

Creator Rewards replaced the old Creator Fund. To join you need to be 18 or older, have a personal account with at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days, and post videos that run at least one minute. TikTok pays on qualified views: views from the For You feed that last at least five seconds and aren't paid or fake. A clip under a minute earns nothing from the program, however many views it gets.

Brand deals and Shop commission often pay more than views do. One sponsored video on an account with tens of thousands of followers can be worth more than a month of Creator Rewards on the same account, and one product that sells well can out-earn both.

What moves your earnings

Two accounts with the same views can earn very different amounts. These are the things that make the difference.

  • Video length: only videos of a minute or longer earn Creator Rewards
  • Where your viewers are: only views from countries in the program count, and rates differ between them
  • Niche: finance, tech and business content is reported to get higher rates and higher brand prices than general entertainment
  • Engagement: brands look at comments, shares and saves per view before they look at followers
  • Originality: TikTok's terms reward engagement and leave out reposted, paid or inflated views
  • What you sell: 20% commission on a $40 product earns more per sale than 10% on a $15 one

Getting more views that count

A calculator can tell you what more views are worth. It can't get you the views. What usually does is the structure of a video: a first second that gives people a reason to stay, a clear order of beats and a payoff worth waiting for. You can see that structure in any video that beat its creator's usual views.

Our free Viral Video Analyzer breaks a TikTok or Short down into its hook, beats, shots and transcript, so you can see why it held attention. If you sell products, the product demo template turns that structure into a video for your own product.

How we built this calculator

Every rate is a range instead of one number, because nobody outside TikTok knows the real figure and creators report very different results. The low end assumes a weak month, the high end a strong one. The typical figure is the middle of what rate guides and creator reports agree on, not an average of real payouts.

The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or saved.

The rates behind the estimate

Every number the calculator uses, and where it comes from. Checked October 2026. TikTok publishes who can join its programs but not what they pay, so the money figures are industry estimates.

TikTok money questions

How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?

Through Creator Rewards, creators report roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, more in finance and tech. TikTok doesn't publish a rate, and views on videos under a minute pay nothing.

How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?

On videos of a minute or longer, roughly $160 to $700 from Creator Rewards: 1 million views is about 400,000 to 700,000 qualified views at $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000.

How many followers do you need to get paid on TikTok?

Creator Rewards needs 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days. Brand deals have no fixed minimum, and TikTok Shop affiliate has its own requirements, shown in the app.

Are these TikTok's official numbers?

No. TikTok publishes who can join its programs, not what they pay. Every money figure here is an estimate from public rate guides and creator reports, listed with sources on this page.

Why does Creator Rewards show $0?

You are below 10,000 followers or 100,000 monthly views, or none of your views come from videos of a minute or longer. The other income sources don't need the program.

Is what I enter saved?

No. The calculator runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to us.
