How a brainrot story video is built

An illustrative script for a small candle shop, in the layout of the frames above. Short lines, a hook in the title and a turn near the end keep the captions moving.

Layout sketch of the template. The frames at the top come from our own sample video.

BeatOn screenVoiceover
Hook0:00–0:04Story card pops in with the title; the background starts running.“A customer ordered forty of our candles with one note: please don't ask why.”
Problem0:04–0:10Big captions, three words at a time, the spoken word highlighted.“Forty candles, the same scent, rush delivery, to an address by the sea.”
Turn up the problem0:10–0:18The background keeps moving; its color changes every nine seconds.“We packed them anyway, then spent the whole week guessing.”
Twist0:18–0:26Same layout; the captions carry the reveal.“A month later she sent a photo: forty candles on the stairs, and her girlfriend saying yes.”
Call to action0:26–0:30Last caption, then the loop point.“We still don't know why it had to be forty. Link in bio.”

What people mean by a brainrot video

Brainrot is the internet's name for videos made to be watched on autopilot: a story read by an AI voice, huge captions that change every few words, and something moving underneath, usually gameplay. There is very little to the format except the story, so the story does all the work: a first line that makes a promise and a turn near the end that keeps it.

It spread on TikTok and YouTube Shorts with Reddit-style stories, and people keep making it because it needs no camera, no face and no editing.

What our generator makes

Fypzo writes the story, reads it with an AI voice and makes the video. The top half is a story card with the title; the bottom half is a moving endless-run background generated in code, its color changing every nine seconds. Captions sit on the split line, a few words at a time, with the spoken word highlighted.

  • Story: written for you, with three hook options to choose from
  • Voice: an AI narrator, with several voices to pick from
  • Captions: big, centered, a few words at a time
  • Background: abstract motion made in code, no game footage
  • Video: vertical 1080×1920, captions burned in, 1 credit each

The story is about something you promote

Every remix is written around something you promote: a product, a shop, an app, a service or your own channel. You add a name, one sentence and three things worth knowing, and the story is built around them, the way a creator works a sponsor into a storytime. If you want a random story with nothing to promote, this isn't the right tool yet.

You can edit any line of the script before you make the video, and the script itself is free.

A note on Italian brainrot

Many people searching for a brainrot generator want Italian brainrot: the AI-made characters with made-up Italian names, and the memes built from them. We don't make those. There are no character images, meme templates or image generator here, only the story video format on this page.

Brainrot, Reddit story or split screen?

All three pages use the same template. The Reddit story page covers stories told as a post, read in full. The split screen page covers the two-half layout for any message, lists and explainers included. This page is the brainrot cut: short punchy lines, a twist and captions you can follow with the sound off.

When to make a brainrot video

Good fit

  • Faceless accounts that post stories, confessions and “what happened next” videos
  • Shops and apps with a funny or surprising customer story
  • Testing a story idea before filming anything

Not a good fit

  • Italian brainrot characters or meme images: we don't generate them
  • Real Minecraft or Subway Surfers footage: the background is generated in code

Brainrot video questions

Is this an Italian brainrot generator?

No. We don't make Italian brainrot characters or meme images. This makes brainrot story videos: a story, an AI voice, big captions and a moving background.

Can I use Minecraft or Subway Surfers gameplay?

No. The background is abstract motion we generate in code, so there is no game footage in your video.

Do I need to write the story?

No. We write it from the details you add, with three hook options, and you can edit any line before you make the video.

How long are the videos?

As long as the story: the voice reads each line once. Our sample runs about 31 seconds.

How much does it cost?

Signing up and the script are free. Each video costs 1 credit, and new accounts start with 10 free credits. Free-plan videos have a small watermark.
